Summer Reading Club 2022

Summer Reading Club is for people of all ages.

Runs June 1 - August 1, 2022

Beginning Crochet Class

Come and learn how to crochet. All materials are provided. Open to grades 6-12. There are multiple classes to work on projects.

Registration is required. Register on the library calendar.

art suppliesOpen Art Night

Bring an art project you’re working on or make your own creation. Art supplies will be provided. Open to grades 6-12.

Teen Canvas Painting
Teens are invited to come paint an ocean themed picture guided by local artist, Jennifer Cook. All materials are provided. Open to teens in grades 6-12.

Due to limited availability, each participant can register for only one class time.

cultural pass Cultural Pass is for youth aged 0-21 years old who register for the Summer Reading Club 2022. Participants must come to one of our libraries to receive the pass.

The 2022 Cultural Pass is a one-of-a-kind program that supports and encourages lifelong learning by providing access to art and cultural institutions in the Louisville area. Use the pass at 57 venues for FREE admission. There are both in-person and virtual venues.

Pass is valid from June 1 – September 4.

Does your family love the ocean? Are sharks, mermaids and sailboats right up your alley? Your family can celebrate them at this fun event featuring crafts, stories, treats, games and more.

This is a drop-in event and no registration is required.

All ages are welcome to meet a penguin at the library! Your family can learn all about these fascinating animals from an educator from the Newport Aquarium.
