Nancy Hudson with Purdue Extension will present a workshop on the basics of food preservation such as canning and freezing. This workshop will provide information on the principles of food preservation, when to use a water bath canner or a pressure canner, and the difference between the two. Learn how to can safely at home and what type of tools and equipment you will need. Learn how to choose foods for preservation. This is a beginner level workshop.
